The exhibit, designed by GRAFT architects, featured a three-dimensional mirrored Dibond installation. <!--more--><br \/>\n<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/cdn.graphicdisplay.3acompositesusa.com\/2015\/11\/Distinct_Ambiguity_Exhibition_Berlin_GRAFT_Architects_ThyssenKrupp_Plastics_Reproplan_Berlin_oHG_Kathrein_Tischlerei_Innenausbau_GmbH_Mirror_Dibond_3A_Composites_USA_2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.graphicdisplay.3acompositesusa.com\/2015\/11\/Distinct_Ambiguity_Exhibition_Berlin_GRAFT_Architects_ThyssenKrupp_Plastics_Reproplan_Berlin_oHG_Kathrein_Tischlerei_Innenausbau_GmbH_Mirror_Dibond_3A_Composites_USA_2-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"Distinct Ambiguity Exhibition, Berlin, GRAFT Architects, ThyssenKrupp Plastics, Reproplan Berlin oHG, Kathrein Tischlerei Innenausbau GmbH, Mirror Dibond 3A Composites USA\" width=\"500\" height=\"400\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-1165\" \/><\/a>Dibond mirror was specified by the architects, \u201cAlthough it\u2019s very thin, this material has astonishing structural strength,\u201d said architect Wolfram Putz. \u201cWhat\u2019s more, the reverse, which in this case is mill-finished with a clear coat, displays a high-grade aesthetic.\u201d The supplier of the silver mirror finish specified by GRAFT was <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thyssenkrupp-materials-international.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">ThyssenKrupp Plastics.<\/a><br \/>\n<br \/>\nThe exhibit installation was completed by two Berlin-based installers, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.reproplan.de\/werbung-druck-scan-archiv.html\" target=\"_blank\">Reproplan Berlin oHG<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tischlerei-kathrein.de\/\" target=\"_blank\">Kathrein Tischlerei &#038; Innenausbau GmbH<\/a>; with Reproplan being responsible for the printing of the material. The direct printing of the panels was done within very precise specifications by the architects who\u2019s work according to ThyssenKrupp Plastics, \u201c[Showed] a district of New Orleans devastated by Hurricane Katrina in 2005, the artwork refers directly to a reconstruction project of GRAFT architects in the cradle of jazz. Interestingly, Kathrein converted the drawings into \u201ccutting commands\u201d which allowed the material to be automatically cut, via CNS milling machine, into 40 distinct shapes.<br \/>\n<br \/>\nThe team at Kathrein, interviewed by ThyssenKrupp, explained their biggest challenge of the project was assembly. According to Managing Director Thomas Kathrein, \u201cOur job was the technical implementations.
