His larger pieces were initially created with plywood, yet plywood substrates presented the artist with a few problems including weight issues and subjected warping. To absolve these issues he turned to an artist forum where he discovered Dibond aluminum composite material.<\/p>\n
<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2909\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.graphicdisplay.3acompositesusa.com\/2017\/08\/Paul_Carola_Female_Study_Glow_2017_Acrylic_Resin_Dibond_1.jpg\" alt=\"Paul Carola, Female Study Glow 2017, Acrylic, Resin, Dibond\" width=\"733\" height=\"726\" srcset=\"https:\/\/cdn.graphicdisplay.3acompositesusa.com\/2017\/08\/Paul_Carola_Female_Study_Glow_2017_Acrylic_Resin_Dibond_1.jpg 733w, https:\/\/cdn.graphicdisplay.3acompositesusa.com\/2017\/08\/Paul_Carola_Female_Study_Glow_2017_Acrylic_Resin_Dibond_1-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/cdn.graphicdisplay.3acompositesusa.com\/2017\/08\/Paul_Carola_Female_Study_Glow_2017_Acrylic_Resin_Dibond_1-300x297.jpg 300w, https:\/\/cdn.graphicdisplay.3acompositesusa.com\/2017\/08\/Paul_Carola_Female_Study_Glow_2017_Acrylic_Resin_Dibond_1-670x664.jpg 670w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 733px) 100vw, 733px\" \/><\/p>\n
The results are a series of acrylic and resin pieces on Dibond aluminum composite.
