\nThe Cavaliers Team Shop on the east side of the Quicken Loans Arena nearly doubled in size with its renovation. The 5,700 square foot, two-story shop houses Cavs gear and showcased the team\u2019s newest additions back in 2010. The flagship store featured the team\u2019s updated color scheme, breathing new life into their established fandom. <\/p>\n

Cleveland\u2019s Herschman Architects were responsible for the redesign in which they commissioned Brand D\u00e9cor<\/a> for the interior elements. Brand D\u00e9cor specializes in architectural and commercials interiors and assisted the contemporary redesign by providing field verifications, print production, fabrication and oversaw installation.<\/p>\n

To create the various retail and wayfinding sign displays, the designers chose a variety of substrates including digitally printed wall paper used as column covers and an over 20-foot \u201cAll for One\u201d mural.<\/p>\n

The representatives at Brand D\u00e9cor describe, \u201cDepartment identification signs were fabricated using 3\/8\u201d acrylic panels with painted dimensional lettering\u2026Additional dimensional letters and logos were cut from Brushed Dibond aluminum and pegged off the wall to identify the Fathead and Lake Erie Monsters departments.\u201d<\/p>\n

The new store design creates an immersive retail experience for the basketball enthusiasts with themed elements throughout such as the replica scoreboard that hangs from the ceiling. Utilizing the latest point-of-sale (POS) technology, customers are able to purchase items from anywhere in the store, furthering the modern aesthetic of the flagship store.<\/p>\n
