\nHartbrights Sign Solutions<\/a> is a specialist bespoke sign company out of Manchester, UK. The team recently completed a series of signs for a new pub in Lancashire, The Northern Way Pub. The team at Hartbrights describes, \u201cSuch was the brief from our client regarding the signage we knew it was going to be a lengthy and intricate project\u2014just the kind we like as it puts our skills to the test.\u201d<\/p>\n

The project utilized three signs in total, one large size reaching over 40 feet in length and two smaller signs constructed in a circular orientation.<\/p>\n

The largest sign was constructed using three lengths of Dibond aluminum composite that were UV printed with a blue wood effect. Hartbrights explains, \u201cMounted onto this [Dibond sign] are distressed steel letters with acrylic-mounted LED halo lighting behind them, spelling out \u201cThe Northern Way,\u201d \u201cBT Sports,\u201d and \u201cSky Sports\u201d along the length of the sign. The overall effect is industrial and looks extremely eye-catching when installed.\u201d<\/p>\n

The circular signs are constructed in a similar fashion using a foam base, which was cut to house the circular elements of the sign and then painted black. Additional Dibond was cut into the circles and lettering to sit over the cut-foam base prior to the UV wood effect being printed. An additional disc of Dibond was cut and printed as well to fit the signs.<\/p>\n

The representatives explain, \u201cThe third element of the circles involved cutting out circles, decreasing in size, lettering in brushed silver Dibond and applying a distressed effect via UV printing. The three elements were then brought together, almost resting on each other, to create the finished article.\u201d<\/p>\n

The end result combines different finishes, skill sets and substrates to produce an eye-catching series of signs that \u201ccatch the eye and stick in the memory.\u201d<\/p>\n
