That\u2019s why Plastex began fabricating interior d\u00e9cor and signage for these retailers from Gatorfoam\u00ae graphic display board at least 15 years ago, said George.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe use a lot of Gatorfoam,\u201d said George. \u201cIt cuts well and produces a good edge. It\u2019s lightweight and, therefore, much safer to hang from the wall or from the ceiling. Gatorfoam is a very consistent product that\u2019s made to last. We fabricate long-term displays that will be up for five years or longer.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/cdn.graphicdisplay.3acompositesusa.com\/2015\/05\/fa42c3a59ca5fc5e14b7d70e876992fc_f135.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.graphicdisplay.3acompositesusa.com\/2015\/05\/fa42c3a59ca5fc5e14b7d70e876992fc_f135.jpg\" alt=\"fa42c3a59ca5fc5e14b7d70e876992fc_f135\" width=\"400\" height=\"300\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-461\" srcset=\"https:\/\/cdn.graphicdisplay.3acompositesusa.com\/2015\/05\/fa42c3a59ca5fc5e14b7d70e876992fc_f135.jpg 400w, https:\/\/cdn.graphicdisplay.3acompositesusa.com\/2015\/05\/fa42c3a59ca5fc5e14b7d70e876992fc_f135-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" \/><\/a>Plastex Fabricators\u2019 supermarket chain and convenience store customers regularly update d\u00e9cor and signage. Plastex employees will devote approximately two months to updating an entire store\u2019s d\u00e9cor, according to George, who said these retailers rely upon Plastex to recommend materials.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe customer usually has a firm for design work,\u201d said George. \u201cWe take the concepts and make them work. \u2026 We use Gatorfoam because it\u2019s lightweight yet sturdy and can be used to create a display that looks dimensional. It\u2019s a material that is very versatile and easy to work with.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Plastex Fabricators utilizes Gatorfoam to create multi-layered two-sided departmental signage and store d\u00e9cor as well as cut-out lettering. Cutting is achieved with CNC routers, while pieces are custom spray-painted with Sherwin Williams paints. Pieces that require digital printing or screen printing are sourced out, while laminated d\u00e9cor is completed in-house.
