Now also available in 5mm thickness for enhanced stability, DISPA is a 100% paper board featuring flat, smooth surfaces that offer excellent direct printing results, and a unique core structure that creates an extremely lightweight yet dimensionally stable panel, and prevents distracting “read-through” lines that occur when using alternative corrugated medias. Combined with its easy fabrication and recyclability, DISPA is the ideal substrate for high-quality & eco-friendly seasonal campaign signage & other short-term interior displays.
Material Composition
DISPA is comprised of a uniquely laminated structure of embossed paper as the central core with flat, smooth paper facers. Manufactured by 3A Composites GmbH.

Digitype Design Turns to Recyclable DISPA® Paper Board for Smooth Surfaced Economical Printing Solution
Tualatin, Ore.-based Digitype Design, Inc., weekly prints runs of short-term retail graphic interior signs, custom shapes installed as aisle markers and 4-by-4 foot double-sided posters on fully recyclable DISPA® embossed formed paper board by 3A Composites USA DISPA® – an embossed formed paper graphic display board solution newly available from 3A Composites USA – is meeting the needs of designers and fabricators requiring a smooth-surfaced printable rigid substrate that is 100 percent recyclable. Digitype Design, Inc., a visual marketing communications company based in Tualatin, Ore., has been providing large-format printing solutions to customers in the northwestern United States and across the country for more than 25 years.
Fully Recyclable DISPA® Installation Reveals Design Sin Confessions at BDF 2019
Earlier this year we received news that Birmingham based interior and architectural design studio SCULPT, in collaboration with STEAMhouse, a local center for creative innovation was developing an installation made of DISPA® with the goal of testing DISPA’s capabilities and unique properties. DISPA® consists of a patented embossed formed paper core that is laminated on both sides with bright white, smooth paper surfaces – a unique composition that makes this paper board lightweight yet extremely rigid, strong and dimensionally stable. Signs created with lightweight DISPA® stay flat yet are easy to handle and hang. Manufactured with 100 percent Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC®)-certified paper (FSC®-C169891), DISPA® is fully recyclable. (The FSC® is a nongovernmental organization operating in more than 80 countries to facilitate responsible forest management in accordance with social, economic and ecological needs.)
