A partnership between Caviness Beef Packers and JR Simplot Company produced CS Beef Packers, LLC, a relatively new company established in January of 2015. The company harvests and packages local beef and just recently, in the Spring of 2017, completed the construction of their facility in Kuna, Idaho.
The team at CS Beef Packers commissioned Idaho print and graphics specialists TideLine Design for the directional and wayfinding signage around their facility. When discussing the project, TideLine described the various challenges their team faced, one of which was ensuring brand consistency between all signage produced.
Representatives at TideLine explain, “Each sign needed to correlate with the CS Beef brand and maintain a uniform design.” The team was able to “ensure brand consistency” by utilizing the company’s logos, font styles and color schemes throughout.
Additionally, weatherability placed a huge role in the specification of the signage substrate. The team was concerned about the signs withstanding the harsh weathering deterrents the area receives including sun, wind, dirt, rain and snow.
They further describe, “We chose to print these signs direct to Dibond due to the outdoor use that these signs were intended for. The Dibond material is waterproof and can easily withstand an outdoor environment.”
Lastly, the team at CS Beef pressed the importance of timing, with their facility being highly trafficked, it was imperative the signs be completed in a timely manner. TideLine explains, “For the majority of these sign projects, we had the product designed, approved by the client, and sent to print within the day. This made it possible to achieve the vital aspect of a quick turnaround time.”
