The hoarding specialists at Spiral Colour assist their client in new applications from start to finish. The team is uniquely involved in the hoarding process from its initial design to its installation, ensuring the highest quality finished product. The team was commissioned by Trustford to create and install their Wilmslow hoarding. Trustford owns dozens of Ford dealerships across the UK and needed specialized hoarding to showcase the refurbishment of their old showroom.
The signs were designed for both advertising and informative purposes. The company wanted the public to know they planned to remain open during the renovation process and also hoped it may spark new interest from passersby. The hoarding system faced the busy A34, a road that sees thousands of drivers on a daily basis. To entice potential new clientele, the designers chose a series of high-resolution car images and repeated the pattern three times.
“Every panel consisted of a six-foot high frame with four-foot by eight-foot landscape panels. A two-foot gap had to be left between the hoarding and the floor. This was to ensure all aspects of the hoarding could be seen by those passing by,” explain the representatives at Spiral Colour.
The team further describes, “When choosing the hoarding panels for Trustford, we had to take into consideration how long construction would take. We decided to use Dibond aluminum composite material for the panels as they are hardwearing and can last up to seven years.”
The team took advantage of Dibond’s high printability by utilizing the highest quality UV inks for the car images, guaranteeing the images would draw attention. Additionally, to make certain the graphics withstood climatic and various other deterrents, the team added an anti-graffiti laminate for protection.
The team at Spiral pride themselves on their ability to be involved in the process from start to finish as their team includes surveyors, designers, and even installers, showcasing their wide range of abilities and commitment to high quality results.
