Bell’s Brewery, Inc., a regional brewer headquartered in Kalamazoo, Mich., has been making a name for itself since 1985 by brewing quality craft beers in both its Kalamazoo and Comstock, Mich., locations.
While started as a quest by Larry Bell, president
of Bell’s Brewery, to create a better beer in a 15-gallon stovetop soup kettle,
this independent, family-owned business is now the seventh largest craft
brewery in the United States, brewing more than 20 craft beers for distribution
by Bell’s Brewery employees throughout 41 states as well as in Puerto Rico and
James and Karla Murray -- a married team of architectural and interior photographers based in New York City -- have been on a mission for two-plus decades to document and preserve images of "mom-and-pop" storefronts scattered throughout the city's boroughs that not only have fulfilled residents' retail needs but created a sense of community through their daily interactions.
DAVIDSON, N.C. (Feb. 13) – The Oxford Museum of Natural History received nearly 100 proposals from artists asked to create contemporary art to coincide with the museum’s temporary exhibition entitled “Settlers: Genetics, geography and the peopling of Britain” (https://oumnh.ox.ac.uk/event/settlers).
The selected bold style of contemporary artist and graphic designer Ian Kirkpatrick (www.iankirkpatrick.ca) would serve in sharp contrast to the Victorian neo-Gothic architectural design of the museum founded in 1860 in Oxford, England.

The Bagg’s Square mural is a 76-foot historical timeline of Utica’s past. In Utica, New York, a $250,000 grant was awarded from National Grid to the Bagg’s Square Association, which enabled the association to develop a large Dibond paneled mural, designed by Michelle Truett. The installation features 110 historical elements including people, places and events that made the city what is today. (more…)

The Distinct Ambiguity exhibition in Berlin’s “Haus am Waldsee” made its rounds at the AIT ArchitekturSalons in Munich, Cologne and Rotterdam. The exhibit, designed by GRAFT architects, featured a three-dimensional mirrored Dibond installation. (more…)
