Artist Krista Svalbonas Explores Her History With Architecture Using Dibond

In another installation by the “Migrator” artist, Krista Svalbonas, the focus is on the Logan Fontenelle Housing Project from the New Deal. In the series the artist further explores her history as a child of parents who immigrated to the United States as refugees from Latvia and Lithuania. The exploration led her to create a body of work around the theme of impermanence in relation to the idea of “home”.

Photographer, Levon Biss, makes the microscopic world visible to the unaided eye. His exhibit, Microsculpture, is a macro photography project that captures insects in all their detailed-glory on large-scale printed Dibond aluminum composite. What started out as a side project in his home, featuring bugs caught by his son, grew into a dream project worthy of entomologists from the Oxford University Museum of Natural History.

One such company responsible for site branding, DN&Co for Stanhope plc, hired Service Graphics for a large hoarding installation. For the mammoth project of the old BBC Television Center, over 300 feet of black satin Dibond was sourced.

Imagine direct, warm white LED light emanating from an elaborate fixture overhead casting a glow below - completely transforming the mood of the room. That’s where designer Fabrice Berrux, a French lighting designer, comes in. The designer got his start in the late 1980s with a design studio, Societe 18 Août, which created quirky and unusual objects. Later his aesthetic carried over into a lighting design company he helped create with two other designers, named Dix Heures Dix.
